The third Inner Mongolia Hotpot Meat Industry and Brand Promotion Event has kicked off in Chongqing for a two-day run, bringing together 26 agricultural and livestock enterprises from North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region to showcase regional specialties and explore business opportunities in Southwest China.

Running through Oct 24, the event features product exhibitions and sales, regional brand presentations, industry discussions, and business matchmaking.

The 432-square-meter exhibition showcases more than 200 products, including beef, mutton, seasonings, and hotpot soup bases. An on-site tasting area allows visitors and industry buyers to sample the products and experience the distinctive flavors of Inner Mongolia's grassland-style hotpot.

At a promotional conference on Oct 23, representatives from the agricultural and livestock sectors, catering businesses, supply chain companies, industry experts, and distributors from Inner Mongolia and Chongqing discussed ways to improve supply chain standards, strengthen regional brands, and expand market access.

Experts also analyzed beef and mutton consumption patterns and market trends in Sichuan and Chongqing, offering guidance for businesses seeking to expand in Southwest China.

Haishan, deputy director of the Inner Mongolia Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, said the event combines Inner Mongolia's high-quality grassland beef and mutton with Chongqing's distinctive hotpot culture, creating opportunities to expand market access for Inner Mongolia's agricultural and livestock products and deepen regional cooperation.
