The 13th Inner Mongolia Green Agricultural and Livestock Products Expo opened in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 22, showcasing the region's latest achievements in modern agriculture and animal husbandry.

Running through Sept 24, the expo features exhibitions, product sales, interactive experiences, and business matchmaking, with a focus on technology application, brand development, market expansion, and investment promotion.

A dedicated exhibition area for specialty agricultural products from along the Yellow River brings together more than 70 products from 22 companies based in provinces and autonomous regions such as Shanxi, Shandong, and Ningxia.

An exhibition area featuring premium green agricultural and livestock products from Inner Mongolia's 12 cities and leagues showcases more than 540 products from 194 companies, including beef and mutton, dairy products, grains, fruits and vegetables, edible oils, and aquatic products.

This year's new sections highlight smart agriculture, agricultural technology, agricultural inputs, and more.

The opening ceremony also featured policy briefings, agricultural and cultural tourism initiatives, inter-provincial cooperation, new agricultural varieties and technologies, brand promotion, and procurement matchmaking.
