Inner Mongolia joins national computing interconnection network

North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been approved to build a regional node for China's national computing interconnection network, making it one of the key nodes in the national "1+M+N" computing interconnection architecture designed to improve the coordinated use of computing resources across the country.

The Inner Mongolia regional node will establish six core systems, covering regional computing services, computing-resource identification and management, operational security monitoring, resource aggregation, computing-resource selection, and security protection. It will operate under unified identification, standards, and rules to create a coordinated computing architecture connecting different parts of the region and the country.

The node will connect with national computing service nodes to enable unified registration and nationwide interconnection, while coordinating with computing nodes across regions and industries. This will support dynamic monitoring, resource sharing, and cross-regional scheduling, enabling computing resources across Inner Mongolia to be accessed through standardized, integrated, and market-oriented mechanisms.

The project is expected to strengthen Inner Mongolia's connection with China's unified computing market and facilitate the aggregation, unified scheduling, sharing, and cross-regional flow of computing resources. It will also help the region meet growing demand for high-end computing services, including big-data analytics and AI model training.
