China's green tech company Envision announced on Aug 6 the completion of the world's largest single-site AI computing facility in Ulaanqab, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Known as the Envision Galaxy Campus, the facility spans 120,000 square meters – roughly the size of 20 standard football fields. It is designed to deliver one million PFLOPS of AI computing power and support up to one million AI accelerators.

It has the world's highest token-generation capability for a single AI data center while setting a new benchmark for AI infrastructure density.

Ulaanqab is one of China's eight national computing hubs under the country's "East Data, West Computing" initiative. Its low-latency network enables efficient support for real-time AI computing workloads.

The city is also one of China's leading renewable energy bases, with 67 percent of its electricity generated from green sources.

Envision Galaxy Campus is powered largely by renewable electricity supplied directly through dedicated wind farms and transmission lines, utilizing the region's abundant wind resources to establish what the company describes as the world's largest AI computing facility with the highest proportion of green power.
