Inner Mongolia's first museum residency performance, Yujian Fengyingcaoyuan, has opened at the Inner Mongolia Museum, introducing a new cultural tourism experience that combines museum collections with live performing arts.

Produced by the Inner Mongolia Art Theatre in partnership with the Inner Mongolia Museum and two cultural enterprises, the production premiered on July 22 after six months of preparation and has begun regular performances.

The show brings together acrobatics, ethnic dance, Mongolian long-song singing, throat singing, and Mongolian folk music.

Drawing inspiration from the museum's collection, it features cultural relics such as the Hongshan Culture Jade Dragon and painted pottery figurines of musicians and dancers, presenting Inner Mongolia's history through immersive stage storytelling.

The production pioneers a "museum + performing arts" model in Inner Mongolia, integrating cultural relics with intangible cultural heritage to enrich museum experiences and promote traditional Chinese culture.

The residency performance is staged every Tuesday through Sunday at 11 am and 3 pm at the Inner Mongolia Museum. Tickets are available through the museum's "Yunyou Neibo" mini program.
