North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is stepping up efforts to regulate the tourism market and improve industry governance to support high-quality development.
A series of measures are being implemented to address issues such as unreasonably low-priced tours, forced shopping, misleading advertising, and unfair treatment of tourists.
Enforcement efforts are being strengthened through more frequent inspections, improved inter-departmental coordination, and normalized joint actions by cultural and tourism, market regulation, and public security authorities.

Meanwhile, the region is advancing institutional reform and improving long-term regulatory mechanisms. A revised Tourism Complaint Handling Measures has been implemented, credit-based classified supervision is being strengthened, and cross-departmental joint enforcement has become a routine practice.
These measures aim to maintain a fair, transparent, and orderly tourism market, enabling operators to conduct business with confidence and improving the tourist experience.
