Inner Mongolia FTZ launches data transaction arbitration service center
The China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone has launched its data transaction arbitration service center in its Hohhot area, marking the first specialized arbitration platform dedicated to resolving data transaction disputes in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Jointly established by the Hohhot Arbitration Commission and the Inner Mongolia Data Exchange Center, the new center focuses on arbitration cases involving data ownership, transaction performance, data compliance, and cross-border data cooperation.
The center provides one-stop legal services covering pre-transaction compliance reviews, diversified pre-litigation mediation, professional arbitration, and legal and policy consultation, and is designed to strengthen risk management throughout the entire lifecycle of data transactions, from pre-trade assessment to post-transaction dispute resolution.
The launch of the center is expected to further regulate the data trading market, standardize dispute resolution, and reduce institutional costs and compliance risks for market participants.
It is also expected to boost confidence in data transactions and support the Hohhot area in developing into a hub for the secure and efficient flow of data resources both domestically and internationally.
