The inaugural flight of the Hulunbuir–Seoul direct passenger route landed at Hulunbuir Hailar International Airport on the evening of June 20, marking the official launch of the only direct passenger air service currently linking Inner Mongolia autonomous region and South Korea.

According to the flight schedule, the route will operate from June 20 to Sept 2, with services running every Wednesday and Saturday using an Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights depart from Seoul Incheon International Airport at 8:30 pm and arrive in Hailar at 10:20 pm. The return flight leaves Hailar at 11:50 pm and lands in Incheon at 3:35 am the following day.

The launch of the direct route is expected to significantly reduce travel time and costs between the two destinations, while enhancing connectivity and facilitating tourism, business exchanges, and people-to-people interactions.

Local transportation authorities said they will continue working with relevant departments to ensure the stable operation of the service, expand the region's international flight network, and further improve the integrated transportation system to support high-quality regional development.
