The event combined traditional Chinese culture, folk customs, parades, matchmaking activities, and cultural markets, creating an immersive cultural experience with a strong historical atmosphere.
The celebration opened with a colorful parade featuring performers in elaborate costumes marching through the streets. One of the highlights was the flower hairpin-themed celebration inspired by traditional Chinese aesthetics. Dancers dressed as flower fairies performed gracefully under the spotlight before joining the audience alongside performers carrying fresh flowers.
Traditional wedding customs from different ethnic groups were presented through immersive performances. A reimagined version of the classic "martial arts contest for marriage" entertained audiences, while ceremonies such as embroidered ball tossing and Song Dynasty (960-1279)-style weddings showcased the charm of ancient customs.
The event also featured live performances of classic Chinese songs, with singers performing both on stage and aboard decorated flower boats.
