Tourists don spacesuits at Inner Mongolian volcano park

Walking on the Moon or Mars may remain a distant dream for most, but that hasn't stopped tourists from pretending otherwise at a volcanic geopark in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Recently, the Wulanhada Volcano Geopark in Ulaanqab has seen a boom in "space tourism" – not in rockets, but in rented space suits. Crowds of visitors are donning shiny astronaut outfits on the black volcanic lunar-like landscape and posing for playful holiday photos.

The suited tourists young and old mimic zero-gravity walks and make peace signs, turning the crater area into a joyful sci-fi set. The adorable scenes have gone viral on social media, with many commenting that "Earth suddenly looks like Mars".
