At the liquid milk packaging workshop of Yili's global smart manufacturing benchmark base in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, production lines are running at full speed as the company pushes for strong first-quarter results.
The facility, part of the Yili Modern Intelligent Health Valley, processes 6,500 metric tons of fresh milk per day – enough to meet the daily needs of a city with a population of tens of millions.
"This year marks the beginning of a new development phase, and we are fully committed to achieving a strong start," said Ma Yufeng, head of the packaging section.
"Our goal is clear: to refine operations, improve efficiency, and strictly control quality, ensuring safe and reliable products for consumers," Ma added.
While operating at full capacity, the plant relies on advanced intelligent systems to enhance both efficiency and quality.

Real-time monitoring systems track every stage of production, while automated inspection ensures that any issues are immediately identified. Equipment such as robotic arms has significantly improved productivity while maintaining consistent product standards.
The facility reflects the strength of Hohhot's dairy industry, which has built a fully integrated supply chain spanning grass cultivation, breeding, farming, and processing.
Across Inner Mongolia, the dairy sector continues to expand. The region leads the nation in milk output, producing about one-fifth of the national total.
With technological innovation and coordinated development across the entire industrial chain, Inner Mongolia is steadily boosting its competitiveness and bringing high-quality dairy products to more households.
