Smart farming innovations to take center stage at Inner Mongolia expo
The 38th Inner Mongolia Agricultural Expo is set to open on March 26 at the Inner Mongolia International Convention and Exhibition Center, where it will run for three days.
Under the theme of advancing smart agriculture and animal husbandry while fostering new quality productive forces, the expo will showcase a comprehensive range of innovations supporting agricultural modernization and building momentum for sectoral transformation.
The event will cover an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, and over 1,500 booths will be featured.
It is expected to bring together more than 900 enterprises, research institutions, and meteorological and insurance organizations from 28 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China.
The exhibition is organized into seven themed zones, including agricultural inputs and crop protection, water-saving irrigation, smart agriculture, agricultural and livestock machinery, high-standard farmland construction materials, regional public brands, and meteorological and financial insurance services. Together, they will present the full industrial chain from field to table.
This year's expo highlights integrated improvements in farmland, seeds, machinery, and farming practices. A wide range of intelligent and new-energy agricultural equipment, as well as machinery suited for hilly and mountainous areas, will be on display, providing technological support to boost grain and oil crop yields and advance Inner Mongolia's goal of reaching a grain production capacity level of 100 million metric tons.
A series of parallel events, including the third Inner Mongolia Farm Owners Conference, will convene experts, scholars, and industry representatives to discuss topics such as smart agriculture, yield enhancement technologies, and agricultural service systems.
These exchanges aim to strengthen collaboration among industry, academia, research, and application, accelerating the commercialization of advanced technologies.
