In 2025, Inner Mongolia's total grain output reached 42.04 billion kilograms, up 2.5 percent year-on-year, marking the 22nd consecutive year of grain harvest growth. The region's grain-sown area totaled 105.67 million mu (7.04 million hectares), an increase of 0.5 percent from the previous year. Average grain yield reached 397.8 kilograms per mu, up 2.0 percent, achieving growth in total output, sown area, and unit yield.

In 2025, Inner Mongolia's supply capacity of livestock products continued to improve. Its total output of pork, beef, mutton, and poultry meat reached 3.16 million metric tons, up 5.0 percent year-on-year. Of this total, pork output was 883,000 tons, beef 1.02 million tons, mutton 1.03 million tons, and poultry meat 229,000 tons.
