Baarin Right Banner General Airport opens to air traffic

Flight HL5107 took off from Baarin Right Banner in Chifeng, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, for Chengde Puning Airport at 9:50 am on Oct 26, marking the official opening of the Baarin Right Banner General Airport.
With this addition, Inner Mongolia now has a total of 26 general airports.
The airport's opening further strengthens Baarin Right Banner's integrated transportation network consisting of highways, railways, and air routes.

It will enhance regional connectivity, improve logistics and passenger travel, and support the development of local industries such as agricultural product transport, tourism, emergency response, and environmental management.
The new facility is expected to inject fresh momentum into Inner Mongolia's general aviation industry and promote interregional connectivity.
Additionally, the general airports in Inner Mongolia's Horqin Right Middle Banner and Horqin Right Front Banner have recently passed final inspections and are expected to begin operations soon.
