The Inner Mongolia Used Car Export Auction Platform was held in Mongolia on June 28 during the country's 3rd China Commodity Expo.

The platform facilitated its first live auction of used vehicles from North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with 24 cars sold on-site, generating transactions worth 3.42 million yuan ($476,300) in a single day.

The auction featured a variety of vehicle types, including passenger cars and commercial trucks, drawing strong interest from consumers.

Mongolian buyers praised the platform's ease of use, transparent vehicle information, and value-added services, such as cross-border registration and maintenance support, which address common concerns when importing used cars.

Developed by the Inner Mongolia Used Car Export Base, this platform is China's first cross-border auction service targeting Mongolia and Russia. It supports tri-lingual interaction (Chinese, Mongolian, and Russian), real-time currency conversion, vehicle inspection integration, customs declaration, and door-to-door delivery, enabling a seamless experience from online selection to offline handover.

Since its domestic trial launch on May 23, the platform has amassed over 6,000 listed vehicles and attracted 245 verified buyers from Mongolia and Russia.
