Cistanche deserticola

Desert Cistanche deserticola is a rare wild desert plant growing in Badain Jaran Desert and in the belly of Tengger Desert in Alshaa area in the  Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Cistanche deserticola is rich in alkaloids, crystalline neutral substances, amino acids, trace elements, and vitamins. . It contains Cistanche deserticola glycoside, which is not found in other plants, and is the most effective component for delaying aging.

Different from other medicinal plants, the Cistanche deserticola does not grow in deep mountains and forests, nor in barren hills, but in the endless desert with drought and little rain in western Inner Mongolia, such as Badain Jaran Desert, Tengger Desert and Ulan Buh Desert. It is a pure natural and pollution-free wild green plant.

It has a peculiar appearance, wearing scaly "armor", and its body is like a round pillar. The plant is as high as 40-100 cm, and the heaviest one can reach 10 kg.
