By 2020, the total mileage of highways in Alshaa League has reached 10,971 kilometers. According to the technical grades, there are 977 km of expressways, 651 km of first-class highways, 805 km of second-class highways, 3,928 km of third-class highways and 4,610 km of fourth-class highways.

According to administrative grades: there are 2,595 km of national roads, 2,182 km of provincial roads, 2,170 km of county roads, 1,672 km of township roads and 2,352 km of village roads.

The black road surface reaches 9,214 km, accounting for 84 percent of the total mileage of the whole League. The rate of asphalt road in Sumu town and Gazha village reached 100 percent. By the end of 2020, the total volume of goods transport was 33.132 million tons, and the total volume of passengers transport was 247,000.
