Alshaa customs in Alshaa League, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, recently issued its first "Alshaa Cashmere" certificate of origin.

The goods, valued at $1.43 million, were exported to Italy, marking a new chapter for the region's specialty product. This also marks a great start for the region's "going global" initiative.

In recent years, Alshaa customs has implemented specific measures to optimize the local business environment and facilitate trade. They actively engaged with cashmere export enterprises, provided guidance, and combined "smart review" and "self-printing" measures to produce certificates of origin. They also effectively reduced the application costs for these certificates.

By optimizing customs services, the customs authority has helped enterprises understand export rules, focusing on foreign trade knowledge related to tariff reduction and the strictness of origin standards. They have also guided enterprises in choosing the appropriate types of certificates of origin under different free trade agreements, such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and the China-ASEAN framework agreement.

In support of the high-quality development of foreign trade in Alshaa League, the authorities have formulated 10 support measures for characteristic products such as cashmere, camel hair, and Cistanche products.
