The 20MW decentralized wind power project – located in Ejine Banner, in Alshaa League in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – is set to begin operating.

Currently, the wind park has entered its final stage and has met the grid connection requirements. Once operational, it will provide clean energy for local economic development.

At the construction site located east of Ceke Port, three wind turbines with a total capacity of 20 mW have been successfully erected for the wind park.

The new wind farm will consist of one 6.25 mW turbine and two 6.7 mW turbines. Additionally, a 35 kilovolt substation and a 35 kV collection unit have been installed, with a total investment of some 130 million ($18 million). The project is being funded and developed by Ejine Runjin New Energy Co.

Once completed, the project will generate some 56,500 megawatt hours clean electricity annually, saving around 18,000 metric tons of standard coal. This will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 44,600 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 324 tons and nitrogen oxide emissions by 487 tons per year.
