Alshaa's import and export trade maintains upward trajectory from Q1-3

The total value of the import and export trade in Alshaa League in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region reached 8.25 billion yuan ($1.13 billion) in the first three quarters of 2023, a year-on-year increase of 189.8 percent, ranking second in the autonomous region in terms of growth.

The export value stood at 1.21 billion yuan, an annual increase of 1.4 percent, while imports hit 7.04 billion yuan, up 325.6 percent.

The import and export value of trade with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative reached 7.42 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 261.9 percent, accounting for 89.9 percent of the league's total foreign trade value.

Since the beginning of this year, Alshaa customs has been implementing the requirements of the "16 Measures for Optimizing the Business Environment of Customs", and continuously improving measures to assist enterprises, such as by opening "7x24-hour" appointment and window services.

Customs officials have also provided guidance to enterprises about completing their declarations, registration and filing, and the self-service printing of certificates of origin through an "online + offline" approach.
