In 2020, the regional GDP of Alshaa League reached 30.48 billion yuan, an increase of 3.8 percent year-on-year. In terms of industries, the added value of the primary industry was 1.77 billion yuan, an increase of 9.5 percent. The added value of the secondary industry was 17.36 billion yuan, an increase of 8.0 percent. The added value of the tertiary industry was 11.35 billion yuan, down 3.0 percent. The ratio of the three industries is 5.8: 57.0: 37.2.

In 2020, Alshaa League achieved a total local fiscal revenue of 5.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.9 percent. Among them: the general public budget revenue was 3.11 billion yuan, an increase of 8.1 percent over the previous year. The general public budget expenditure was 10.98 billion yuan, down 2.1 percent year-on-year. The financial expenditure of the whole League on people's livelihood reached 7.89 billion yuan, accounting for 71.9 percent of the general public budget expenditure.

In 2020, the annual investment in fixed assets of over 5 million yuan in urban and rural areas of Alshaa League decreased by 1.2 percent over the previous year. Among them: investment in the primary industry increased by 6.7 percent; in the secondary industry increased by 1.8 percent; and the tertiary industry decreased by 6.5 percent. The private investment increased by 8.9 percent, infrastructure investment decreased by 31.4 percent.

The number of construction projects in the whole year was 348, down 2.8 percent, and 160 new projects were started, down 19.2 percent and the number of projects put into production is 72. Investment in new projects decreased by 6.3 percent; the expansion project increased by 755.0 percent; investment in reconstruction and technological transformation increased by 4.4 percent.

By the end of 2020, the balance of RMB deposits of financial institutions in Alshaa League was 40.89 billion yuan, an increase of 2.22 billion yuan, 5.8 percent over the beginning of the year. At the end of the year, the balance of RMB loans of financial institutions was 36.86 billion yuan, an increase of 110 million yuan, 0.3 percent over the beginning of the year.

By the end of 2020, there were 15 insurance institutions in Alshaa League. In the whole year, the insurance industry realized premium income of 1.28 billion yuan, an increase of 3.3 percent over the previous year. Life insurance realized premium income of 750 million yuan, down 0.8 percent; property insurance realized premium income of 540 million yuan, an increase of 9.7 percent. The accumulated compensation expenditure of the insurance industry was 340 million yuan, an increase of 7.7 percent, of which: the accumulated compensation of property insurance business was 230 million yuan; the accumulated compensation of life insurance is 110 million yuan.

Primary industry

In 2020, the total sown area of crops in Alshaa League is 82,000 hectares. Among them, the sown area of food crops is 16,000 hectares, an increase of 2.8 percent; the sown area of cash crops was 65,000 hectares, a decrease of 0.8 percent. The total grain output was 133,000 tons, which was basically the same as that of the previous year. The oil output was 11,000 tons, a decrease of 3.5 percent. The vegetable output was 87,000 tons, an increase of 0.1 percent; the cotton output was 83.9 tons, down 20.6 percent; the output of fruits (including fruit melons) was 1,313 tons, down 69.7 percent. The number of livestock in animal husbandry reached 1,153,700 yearly, an increase of 8.8 percent over the previous year.

In 2020, the total machinery power of agricultural and animal husbandry in Alshaa League is 282,000 kilowatts, an increase of 1.1 percent over the previous year; the comprehensive mechanization level of crop cultivation and harvest reached 87.6 percent.

Secondary industry

In 2020, the total industrial added value of Alshaa League increased by 10.4 percent over the previous year, among which the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 12.5 percent.

In industries above designated size, the added value of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 0.9 percent in terms of economic types; the added value of joint-stock enterprises increased by 12.5 percent; the added value of foreign-invested enterprises, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan invested enterprises increased by 22.6 percent. In terms of categories, the mining industry increased by 0.4 percent, the manufacturing industry increased by 17.2 percent, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 7.1 percent. In terms of light and heavy industries, light industry decreased by 5.9 percent and heavy industry increased by 12.9 percent.

From the perspective of the output of major products of industrial enterprises above designated size, the output of raw salt in the whole League reached 1.023 million tons, an increase of 0.9 percent over the previous year; the output of raw iron ore reached 208,000 tons, an increase of 74.7 percent; the output of hydrochloric acid reached 85,000 tons, down 30.9 percent; and the output of cement reached 1.009 million tons, an increase of 29.3 percent.

In 2020, the operating income of industrial enterprises above designated size in Alshaa League increased by 7.5 percent over the previous year; the total profit decreased by 25.1 percent.

Tertiary industry

In 2020, the total retail sales of social consumer goods in Alshaa League was 5.12 billion yuan, down 18.8 percent from the previous year. According to the statistics of business place, the retail sales of urban consumer goods reached 4.53 billion yuan, down 19.0 percent, and the retail sales of rural consumer goods reached 590 million yuan, down 17.2 percent.

According to the statistics of consumption types, the retail sales of goods was 4.18 billion yuan, down 6.4 percent; the catering income was 940 million yuan, down 49.0 percent. The sales of wholesale commodities was 18.42 billion yuan, down 16.4 percent; the sales of retail goods was 3.75 billion yuan, down 9.8 percent; the turnover of the accommodation industry was 320 million yuan, down 6.8 percent; the turnover of catering industry was 530 million yuan, down 19.6 percent.

In 2020, the total import and export volume of Alshaa League was 3.63 billion yuan, down 24.4 percent from the previous year, of which the import value was 3.02 billion yuan, down 27.7 percent, and the export value was 610 million yuan, down 2.5 percent.

In 2020, Alshaa League received 6.615 million tourists from home and abroad, a recovery of 89.2 percent in the same period. Among them, there were 6.615 million domestic tourists, a recovery of 89.8 percent in the same period; there were 39 inbound tourists, which recovered by 0.1 percent in the same period. Tourism income reached 10.72 billion yuan, a recovery of 78.6 percent in the same period. Among them, domestic tourists reached 10.72 billion yuan, a recovery of 80.4 percent in the same period; inbound tourists reached 15,400 US dollars, a recovery of 0.04 percent in the same period.
