Baotou took on Xiliin Gol League in the fifth round of the 2026 Mengniu Inner Mongolia Football Super League on June 13 and secured a 1-0 home victory.

Over the previous four matches, Baotou has claimed two wins, one draw, and one loss, earning seven points to rank third. Xiliin Gol League had a difficult start, with one draw and three losses for just one point, leaving them 12th in the standings.

Playing at home, Baotou seized the opportunity early on. In the 9th minute of the first half, Baotou won a penalty kick only to see it saved by the opponent's goalkeeper. In the 21st minute, Baotou earned a free kick and scored from the chance.

The scoreline remained 1-0 until the final whistle, sealing a third consecutive victory for Baotou.
