The boxing qualifiers for the 16th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Games kicked off in Baotou on May 9, attracting more than 670 team leaders, coaches, and athletes from across Inner Mongolia. 

The qualifiers' 47 events across six categories will last eight days. Participants from different age groups and weight classes will compete in multiple rounds, with the top 16 athletes in each division qualifying for the finals.
