The National Photographic Art Exhibition is China's longest-running, largest-scale, and most authoritative photography competition. Founded in 1957, it has been held 30 times to date, documenting the development of contemporary photography in China. The 30th exhibition received 102,810 valid submissions, totaling 306,417 works. A total of 279 pieces were selected to be displayed, spanning documentary, art, creative and commercial photography, and short videos, representing the highest-standard photography pieces in the country.

Zhang Shiyu, chairman of the Baotou Photographers Association, said that the exhibition enables local photographers to appreciate China's top-level photographic works, offering clear guidance for their future creations.
