The direct flight route between Baotou and Shenzhen will be resumed on May 15, operated by Shenzhen Airlines, reopening an efficient air corridor connecting the two cities.T

The resumption of this route marks an important initiative taken by the Baotou municipal bureau of transportation to cater to people's travel needs and bolster regional economic development.

Every Tuesday the flight departs from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport at 9:45 am and arrives at Baotou Donghe International Airport at 1:15 pm; the return flight departs from Baotou at 2:35 pm and lands at Shenzhen at 6:10 pm.

On Fridays the flight departs from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport at 9:05 am and arrives at Baotou Donghe Airport at 12:35 pm; the return flight departs from Baotou at 1:35 pm and lands at Shenzhen at 5:05 pm.

The flight departs from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport at 8:40 am and arrives at Baotou Donghe Airport at 12:10 pm on Wednesdays and Sundays; the return flight departs from Baotou at 1:35 pm and lands in Shenzhen at 5:05 pm.

The route eliminates the inconvenience of transfer travel for passengers between the two cities and greatly cuts travel time. It can meet the diverse travel needs of local residents, including tourism, education, and business trips. It also helps the city connect with high-quality industrial resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, improves the efficiency of investment promotion, and drives in-depth cooperation in industry, economy, and tourism between the two regions.
