More than 100 elite tennis players from around the world gathered in Baotou on April 19 for the 2026 ITF World Women's Tennis Tour (W50), a high-level competition that will run through April 26.

The tournament offers a total prize of $50,000, featuring high-standard organization and intense competition. It has attracted over 100 professional female players from more than 20 countries and regions, boasting a lineup that includes several top professionals ranked within the top 200 of the WTA world rankings. Baotou has advanced the development of its sports sector and introduced high-level international professional events in recent years, hosting several editions of the ITF and ATP international tennis tournaments.
