The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the latest list of national-level green factories and green industrial parks. Inner Mongolia Asia New Longshun Special Steel Co, an enterprise located in Shiguai district, Baotou, was selected as a national-level green factory.

With a total investment of about 5 billion yuan ($724.6 million) and covering an area of more than 2,000 mu (133.33 hectares), the company is a full-industry-chain steel enterprise involved in sintering, iron smelting, steel rolling, and further processing. It is also a key investment project for both the city and district.

As a national-level high-tech enterprise and one of the top 100 private enterprises in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the company has obtained four management system certifications and CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) laboratory accreditation. It serves as a key backbone supporting the development of the regional steel industry and real economy.

The company has integrated the concept of sustainability throughout its entire production process. From energy conservation and reduced consumption to clean production, and from technological upgrades to recycling, it has embarked on a high-quality development path from traditional "manufacturing" to "green manufacturing".
