Antai North Technology Co's "High-end Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Materials Smart Factory" and CHN Energy Baotou Energy Co's "Coal Chemical Smart Factory" were selected for the 2025 Excellent-Level Smart Factory list on Sept 4.

The list is from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), with 274 companies nationwide making the list, including five from Inner Mongolia.

In 2024, MIIT and five other ministries issued the "Smart Factory Gradient Cultivation Action Implementation Plan", supporting enterprises in developing smart factories at the foundational, advanced, excellent, and leading levels.

Within a year, Baotou has cultivated 98 foundational-level, 13 advanced-level, and four excellent-level smart factories.

Baotou bureau of industry and information technology stated that Baotou will continue to focus on smart factory construction, promote the integration of information technology with manufacturing, explore new models of digital transformation, accelerate the construction of smart factories, and support the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the industrial economy.
