Since the first China-Mongolia Expo in 2015, more than 40 countries, regions, and international organizations, over 8,000 enterprises, and nearly 40,000 merchants have participated. Almost 600 cooperation agreements worth over 700 billion yuan ($97.77 billion) have been signed during the expo's decade-long history, covering infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, modern agriculture and animal husbandry, new energy, and the digital economy.
Mr Chen and his team from Jiangsu province are interested in rare earth materials, solid-state hydrogen storage, and equipment manufacturing industries. At the Baotou pavilion, they communicate with technical personnel from Baotou INST Magnetic New Materials Co to gain a deeper understanding of the city's rare earth magnetic materials and their applications in new energy vehicles, industrial motors, and robots.

Liu Xiaohong, a representative of the Baotou municipal commerce bureau, stated that Baotou's participation in the expo's city comprehensive exhibition, low-altitude economy exhibition, and outdoor equipment exhibition aims to assist enterprises in expanding their markets and showcase Baotou's comprehensive industrial strength.
Baotou will utilize the expo to expand its trade and economic exchanges with Mongolia and Russia, enrich its product structure, and establish a new pattern of high-level opening-up.
