In March, Qu Hui, a Baotou Railway Vocational and Technical College teacher, was invited by Chinese enterprises in Africa and the Guinea Railway Co to provide professional technical support and train professional railway wagon inspectors in Guinea.

Qu's overseas teaching is the college's practical action in exporting educational models and skill standards, creating a shining image of Baotou in foreign exchanges.

Over the past five years, under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative, the college has established cooperative relations with nine foreign universities and signed a framework agreement for cooperation and exchange. It has also trained more than 150 foreign students with Beijing Jiaotong University and carried out college exchange visits with Mongolia involving 41 teachers and students.

In 2025, the college will continue to deepen international exchanges and cooperation, further enhancing international education and cultivating professional talents with global competitiveness.

Jia Xiaoyu, a college representative, said that the college will use the national railway development and its geographical advantages, construct a cooperation platform for vocational education, carry out vocational skills training, and accelerate exchanges in technology and culture. This will inject strong impetus into cultivating high-quality talents in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
