Shiguai district's policy accelerates construction process

Updated: 2025-04-11

Shiguai district has revolutionized project implementation and accelerated the construction process through its innovative policy, as demonstrated by Inner Mongolia Yongyi Zhongxing Construction Engineering Co's 342 million yuan ($47.3 million) prefabricated steel structure project, which broke ground just three months after contract signing.

This remarkable efficiency results from the district's comprehensive service reforms, including parallel approval processes and dedicated project task forces that have dramatically reduced approval timelines.

The district's proactive approach has cut environmental review periods from three months to just one, while land acquisition procedures now take only 30 days. Such streamlined services have attracted 19 supporting enterprises to Shiguai's burgeoning wind power equipment manufacturing cluster, which has seen five-fold growth to reach 11 billion yuan in output value.

"By handling bureaucratic processes for businesses, we enable them to focus entirely on operations and production," explained Wang Limin, director of Shiguai's bureau of natural resources. With all 28 major projects for this year already completing land approval procedures, including 21 previously idle lands, Shiguai's business-friendly environment continues to set new benchmarks for regional development under China's carbon peaking and neutrality goals.
